The weather is great. We'd like to cut hay, but there's a chance of rain on Monday. Not enough dry days for the hay to dry. Hope to be able to get some more of this rye grass put up for hay. If we don't do it soon, it will go to seed and not make very good hay. We need to restock our hay supplies. We don't want a repeat of last year. Have a wonderful Easter weekend! Last night we had quite the storm. Rain, wind, thunder and lightening. Lightening hit the pecan tree in our front yard then jumped to our house and took out one of our bathrooms, the garage and gate openers. All our cattle are safe.

Sounds like we'll get some rain tonight.

The rain today and tomorrow is likely to delay our hay cutting this week. That's okay. We don't know what summer will bring.

A cloudy Sunday morning can be brightened by seeing a group of baby calves.
