What a great Saturday!

We had two inches of rain last night! It will be nice to see the grass starting to grow. It was starting to look a lot like South Texas around here. The old timers say that they haven't ever seen it this dry this early in the year. We know people here that are feeding hay already. We are fairly lucky that we haven't had to start feeding hay yet. We practice a lot of rotational grazing and keep our grazing pressure down. Pasture management is so important in order to stay in the business.
